Located at the corner of El Camino Real and Bernardo Ave. in Sunnyvale, the painting is a self portrait of myself as a young boy. At the time, the station was leased by my dad. A vintage Golden Arch McDonalds Hamburger Stand can be seen in the background. The service station was turned into a Phillips 66 in the mid-sixties. A Carl's Jr. Restaurant now sits at the spot.
