| Instructions 1. Click on the DOWNLOAD link at the bottom. This will take you to TurboSquid.com's secure server. On this site, there are more screen captures and a DOWNLOAD button. Click on that, and you'll need to supply payment information and create an account, After your information is verified, you'll be given immediate access to the file. 2. Download the file into a temporary folder that you can easily locate. 3. The downloaded file is in the ZIP format. If you do not have the PK ZIP or Win ZIP utility installed, you can get it at http://www.winzip.com/. An evaluation version is free of charge. Follow the site's instructions to install it. 4. You need Cortona VRML to play the simulation. You can get it here. Cortona runs on top of Internet Explorer. Follow the instructions on the site. 5. Create a new folder titled “Peterson”. Click on My Computer. In Windows XP, you can locate this from your Start button on the bottom. 6. Double click on Local disk (C:). This will open the folder with all of the files and sub folders in that directory. 7. Click on File> New> Folder. By Default, "New Folder" will be grayed over to the right of a small folder icon. At this point, you can click on it and rename it to Peterson, and hit Enter. 8. Locate Peterson.zip from the temporary folder that you downloaded it into. If you're not sure where you put it, you can search, using keywords, "Peterson.zip". In Windows, you simply locate My Computer> right click> Search. 9. Double click on Peterson.zip. This will open the ZIP utility. In Win Zip, you may get a window prompting you to purchase the software. Click Use Evaluation Version and the file will open. 10. On the top around the center, hit the Extract icon. A window will pop up like the one below. If your Peterson folder is located in Local Disk (C:), click on the (+) symbol to the left. More folders will expand below. Scroll down until you locate Peterson. Click on that folder and hit the Extract button located at the top-right corner. This will upload all the files into that folder.
11. Locate the Peterson folder and double click Readme. This includes the licence agreement. 12. Open Peterson.wrl. It may take a few moments to load the file. At first, everything will appear black until all the textures are loaded into memory.
12. Read help file included with Cortona. Also, it's suggested to read the FAQ link regarding different operating systems.
