Linda's
Drive-In
Acrylic on canvas 36" X 48"

Before fast food chains dominated our towns, mom and pop burger
stands played a large role in 1950s American culture. Linda's Drive-In, located
on the corner of The El Camino Real and Escuela in Mountain View, was best known
for their Parisian Burgers and tater tot fries. The painting takes place in
the early sixties during a typical lunch hour. The business lasted until about
1980, when it made way for a Photo Drive-Up.
