This page offers 3D databases and objects that I have created and optimized for real-time viewing.

As home PC systems become faster, these 3D scenes will be upgraded to give viewers a more enriched experience.

Requirements:

  • 3-D accelerator card
  • Audition viewer
  • OpenGL Driver
  • or VRML player (if specified)
  • DirectX or OpenGL driver
  • Windows 95, Windows NT 4.0 or later
Instructions: Download the Audition Player from the above link. Right click on an image thumbnail to download one of the 3D databases. Open WinZip and extract the VT file into the desired folder. Open the instruction manual included with Audition to become familiar with maneuver controls.

Spivey's Drive-In

From the fifties to the early 70s, Spivey's restaurants were a popular diner in the Santa Clara Valley. For several generations, the Monte Vista Drive-in Theater was the place to take your family or girlfriend for a night of outdoor entertainment. This database includes several blocks of Mountain View California, circa 1963.

Valley Fair

In the summer of 1956, Macy's Valley Fair opened one of the areas first retail shopping center in San Jose, California. Their roof top carnival became a familiar icon for Santa Clara Valley residents from the time they opened until December 1957.

Remodeled in 1986 and 2001, the upgrades have since made Valley Fair Center one of Northern California's largest shopping malls.
