Hollister

During the July 4th weekend of 1947, 4000 motorcyclists converged into Hollister, a sleepy California town of about 4500 people. The movie, The Wild One, starring Marlon Brando, loosly depicted this event. Some say it was exaggerated, and others say it changed American culture forever.

We will explore this event and get to the bottom of what really happened on that fateful weekend.
