The City of Mountain View's Visual Arts Committee held a reception to introduce the purchase of original canvas paintings from Mike Carroll Jr. and a new publication "Public Art in Mountain View". The four pieces: DOWNTOWN MOUNTAIN VIEW, JOHNNY MAC'S, LINDA'S DRIVE IN and SPIVEY'S can be seen in the Gallery. The reception began with an introduction by Mayor Mary Lou Zoglin, followed by a short acknowledgment by the artist.
