This version includes a full interior, dash and realistic seats. It is ideal for film and video productions. April 8, 2003 - Human teeth 3D models in multiple resolutions have been upgraded to the Model Download link. This replaces the low resolution version. April 1, 2003 - Turbo Squid, an on-line market for 3D models and content, has once again spotlighted Mike Carroll Jr. as their featured artist. March 25, 2005 - A vintage Standard Oil gas station has been added to the Model Download link. This was modeled from Standard Oil, INC's gas station style from the 50's to the early 70s. It is available in the 3DS (3D studio) and 3ds max (3.0) formats. March 17, 2003 - A vintage gas pump island set has been added to the Model Download link. This was modeled from Standard Oil, INC's fifties and sixties era style gasoline dispensers. It is available in the 3DS (3D studio) format. March 12, 2003 - Two models have been added to the Model Download link, a Corvette and a set of teeth. A fully detailed Corvette includes the interior and metallic finish with a clear coat. Low resolution teeth also have been designed for real-time avatars and games. February 28, 2003 - A seagull-in-flight has been added to the Model Download link. The 3D model is available in the 3DS format (3D Studio) and is of medium resolution- suitable for film, video or games. February 26, 2003 - A motion file has been added to the Model Download link. This is a 6.5 second sequence of a human character kneeling from a standing position, saved in Character Studio's (2.0 or higher) Biped format. February 18, 2003 - Mike Carroll Production Studios here in the beautiful Silicon Valley has just completed another animated trailer for A Travel Through Time. The character is full CG and the setting is the Golden Gate Memorial Cemetery, located just south of San Francisco. GG.AVI. February 17, 2003 - The Fabulous Fifties page has been redesigned to include an interactive map of the Santa Clara Valley. January 13, 2003 - Up and coming Hollywood talent, Richard H. Rajic, is now available for music videos and acting parts. His site is being maintained by Mike Carroll Jr. Productions. December 27, 2002 - The animated trailer for A Travel Through Time has been completed. December 17, 2002 - New assets have been added to the 3D models link. Upgraded versions of a woman's head with a full set of hair complete with several expressions are ready to download. Also available, the artist offers a realistic a human ear, scalable at two resolutions. December 17, 2002 - After a year in production, A Travel Through Time, a Cest the Cop sequel, has now been completed. The finished story is now available in a printable HTML format. An eBook version is in the works. Cest the Cop was originally produced as a comic strip in 1985. It was published as a weekly series in The Santa Clara American news, located in Santa Clara, California.

This was a high school project we originally did with Super 8 film in the early seventies. You can either download an MPEG-2 AVI or order a VCD or from the artist's site. December 10, 2001 - More information has been added to the 3D Berkeley link. December 10, 2001 - AeroBall page has been set up. August 12, 2001 - CGSD Corp. will be spotlighting their latest products at the Siggraph 2001 Conference, held in the Los Angeles Convention Center from 8-14 - 8-17. Among presentations will be their innovative new Photoshop plug-in, Bump Texture Tools, as well as the Mountain View interactive 3D drive-through. August 11, 2001- A downloadable 3D database of Macy's Valley Fair (San Jose, CA) has been added. Viewers can now drive down a street and see the way the shopping center looked in 1957 when it had a roof top carnival. You can access all 3D databases here. July 30, 2001 - A downloadable 3D database has been added to this website. Providing you have an accelerator card, viewers can now maneuver through several blocks of Mountain view, CA, circa 1963. Several interviews concerning my art projects have also been added to the Movies link to this site. June 2001 - AeroBall has been moved to the NASA Spacecamp at Moffett Field, in Sunnyvale, California. May 2001 - The San Jose Mercury News ran a small blurb about this website in their Action line column. Between 6AM and 2PM that day, this site received almost 13,000 hits - temporarily shutting it down. The following week, Action Line published a letter I wrote thanking them, giving the site an additional 9000 hits that day. Check 24 hour statistics on this site. March 2001 - CGSD Corporation announces the release of BumpTexture tools, an innovative new Adobe Photoshop plug-in that creates bump maps from one or more picture sources. March 2001 - RePlay Magazine spotlights SimulTainment Corporation's AeroBall. A motion based simulator that's years ahead of its time, this has been an 8 year project for John Barnes, heir to the Barnes and Noble empire. August 1999 - The city of Mountain View California purchased four original canvas paintings from Mike Carroll Jr.. They are now on permanent display in the Mountain View Public Library.
